Our Hope is That All Students Applying:
- Desire to be developed as a leader and intentionally discipled and challenged in their walk with Jesus
- Have a heart to serve their fellow HSM students and community
- Love to have FUN and want to help make HSM a place students want to be
- Call Hillside their home church and have a growing relationship with Jesus
- Are able to commit to being at HSM Sunday Night gatherings weekly, coming early to group each Sunday at 5pm for SL meetings
- Are able to commit to other SL activities including team bonding events, training days, retreat, etc.
- Are able to commit to completing assigned readings, SL assignments, scripture memorization, etc.
- Have permission from their parent/guardian to participate in HSM Student Leadership (including parent/guardians commitment to provide transportation to SL meetings and activities)
Important Dates
- Commitment time – April 2024 to May 2025
- Window to apply – March 3-March 27
- Interviews – Saturday, April 6
- Team Selected – Mid-April
- SL Orientation Day for ’24-’25 Team – April 25 (Evening)
- SL Retreat – May 29-30
- First Pre-HSM meeting – June 2nd
