We believe God has called Hillside to be a church that turns our hearts and our focus to local communities. We seek and are committed to building relationships and have intentional and strategic partnerships where we can work alongside the work God is already doing in our city.
Here are some of the ways we can be Christ’s ambassadors in our neighborhoods. With Hillside’s local ministry partners, there are opportunities you can serve both from your home or in the community to care for others.
The Hope Pantry exists to serve individuals and families in the surrounding area by providing food to fill the gap of hunger. Volunteers can help by handing out boxes of food to families or individuals, currently placing the boxes into cars all while giving a warm smile and hello. The Pantry takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month. Volunteers are asked to serve from 6:45am-9:00am.
The Hope Pantry is run out of First Baptist church located at 7450 Archibald Ave. Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. 91730. For more information on serving at The Hope Pantry, you may contact First Baptist Church at 909-987-3676.
You can also bring non-perishable food to Hillside the first Sunday each month that our team will deliver to Hope Pantry for distribution.
