Quarantine Cuisine Challenge

May 5, 2020

It's taco time!

Today, Cinco de Mayo falls on Taco Tuesday, and while we’re limited on where we can get out to celebrate, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to kick off a little quarantine cuisine challenge!

For the next 24 hours, we want to see what skills YOU have in the kitchen when it comes to whipping up some yummy tacos. We’re proposing a Taco Tuesday challenge and the winner will walk away with a $20.00 giftcard to DoorDash – perfect for the next delivered meal during these shelter-at-home days.

The rules are simple but must be followed in their entirety to be eligible for the prize:

  • Using FIVE ingredients or less of items already on-hand in your pantry, whip up your best tacos!
  • Post on your Instagram story or feed, tag 5 friends, and invite them to join you in this taco challenge!
  • Make sure to tag us, @hillsidechurches, in your post!
  • The challenge will run through Wednesday, May 6 at 1 p.m., so get your pictures posted before then.

Winner will be randomly selected and giftcard will be emailed.

Make sure to tune into our Facebook LIVE today at noon as we worship together a bit and spend some time in the kitchen with two Hillside staffers. We know these times are hard and challenging for many, but we believe there are always opportunities to pursue joy and celebrate God’s goodness – and sometimes that comes in the form of tacos.
