So, what exactly happens at Alpha?

Connect

Come in, grab some food, find a seat, and get to know the people around you.

A short talk

Each week includes a short talk exploring a different big question about life, Jesus, and faith. It’s simply designed to spark conversation.

Good Conversation

The best part of ALPHA. Hear what others think, share your own perspective, ask questions, disagree, or just listen. You can say anything you want or nothing at all.

If you’ve got time, you’re invited to carry on the conversation and hang out for a little while after Alpha wraps up.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all. Alpha is for anyone who wants to explore questions about life, Jesus, and faith, whether you’re curious, skeptical, unsure what you believe, or simply want a place to step back and think things through for yourself.

  • Absolutely. That’s what Launch Night is for. Come experience Alpha for one evening, meet some people, and see what you think. There’s no pressure to continue.

  • No. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’d like. Some people jump right into the conversation and others prefer to listen for a while. That is welcomed. There’s no pressure to have the right answer or say anything at all.

  • Signing up helps us plan for food and seating, but don’t let that stop you. If you decide last minute, come anyway.

  • Definitely. Alpha is often better experienced with someone you already know. Feel free to invite a friend, coworker, family member, or anyone else who might want to explore faith with you.

  • No problem — jump back in whenever you can make it.

  • No. Alpha is free, including the food. Just come as you are.
