Easter is coming!
We are just a few weeks away from celebrating one of the most significant moments of our faith as believers – Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. These are fundamental moments in Jesus’ story that essentially shape who we are and why we believe… but might be a little hard to grasp for young ones.
As we walk towards Good Friday and Easter, we wanted to share some fun, hands-on activities that you could do with your kids to help keep Jesus at the center of the holiday.
RESURRECTION ROLLS
You might have heard of this one already, but resurrection rolls are an easy – and DELICIOUS – way for little ones to grasp the concept of resurrection. Start by reading some of the Easter story, and focus on Jesus’ burial and subsequent resurrection. Then, as you make the these rolls, you can use the ingredients to visually explain what happened when Jesus rose from the grave.
