Join our Saturday, October 19th, Habitat For Humanity Hillside Serve Day! This Serve with Compassion opportunity will help to prepare 15 new homes for first time homeowners by repurposing a donated church facility in Baldwin Park. No construction skills or building experience necessary. You will be trained on the spot with experienced skilled project managers! Sign up to join our day to make a difference in our community and be the hands and feet of Jesus. This is a 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. workday and is lunch provided. Please wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and bring water. Please carpool as much as possible. The address to the work site will be emailed to you. This opportunity is available for ages 16+.
