It's a new day for Hillside.
This Sunday, we will celebrate the grand opening of Hillside Fontana, and with it, we recognize the answer to years of fervent prayer and months of meticulous planning. The excitement is palpable, and the team that has steadily helped to launch this new location is expectant for what God is going to do in the coming months and years in this new community!
The Hillside Fontana grand opening comes at the same time Hillside Rancho celebrates it’s 39th anniversary. While we look forward to Fontana’s future and take a glance back at Rancho Cucamonga’s history, one thing is crystal clear: God is faithful.
Thirty-nine years ago, He was faithful in uniting a team that felt called to start a new place for people in our area to worship.
He was faithful in providing land dedicated to what would eventually become Hillside Community Church.
He was faithful in placing founders and leaders at the helm of Hillside that would carry the mission, vision and values from the past to the present.
He was faithful in bringing members to the church that would grow Hillside into the thriving and engaging body of believers it is today.
From children’s ministry to young adults, from Rooted groups to “I Believe” moments, for 39 years now, Hillside Rancho’s hallways have been witness to the stories of God’s redemption, restoration and transformation in the lives of so many.
And now, just days away from officially marking the opening of Hillside Fontana, we continue to celebrate God’s faithfulness and the work He has already begun in this new location.
May the hope and the love of Jesus be felt in waves upon waves throughout our community! God has been faithful and we wait open-handed for Him to do what only He can do. We are eager, we are expectant and we are EXCITED.
