Winter Camp 2023 Information

Limited Availability

Please register as soon as possible, because space is limited. A waitlist will be started when spots are full. When spots become available they will go to those who are next in line on the waitlist. Please be aware that camp spots are non-transferrable to other students.

Payments, Refunds and Cancellations

A $75 deposit per student is required to register for camp. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Payments will be due in three increments and the payment due dates differ for Junior High and High School camps.

Junior High Camp

  • The initial $75 deposit (paid upon registering)
  • 2nd payment of $100 due on/before Nov. 9th
  • Final payment of $175 due on/before Dec. 12th.

High School Camp

  • The initial $75 deposit (paid upon registering)
  • 2nd payment of $100 due on/before Nov. 28th
  • Final payment of $175 due on/before Jan. 23rd.

Please note that all camp payments must be paid on time or your child’s camp spot will be cancelled. If you are unable to make a payment by one of the due dates specified above, please contact our team ASAP and let us know so we can make arrangements.

We cannot offer refunds on any initial deposits of $75 or 2nd/final payments after the payment due dates have passed. Please be aware of this before registering your student for camp.

Camperships / Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to families on a by-need basis. We have limited funds for scholarship awards. We will try our best to lower the cost of camp for your student if your family is in need of financial assistance, but cannot guarantee a scholarship. Scholarship application deadlines differ for Junior High and High School Camp. If you are in need of financial assistance, please register for camp and submit your application ASAP out of fairness to all applicants.

  • Junior High Camp scholarship applications must be submitted on or before Nov. 7th, 2022.
  • High School Camp scholarship applications must be submitted on or before Nov. 21st, 2022

How to apply for a scholarship: 

  • Fill out the Hume campership form. You will be able to complete this form through your Hume.org account when you fill out the Hume registration.
  •  After you have completed the Hume campership form, please email us at students@hillsidechurches.com to receive the Hillside scholarship application and complete that as well.

Please note: BOTH forms must be completed in order for your student to qualify for any kind of financial assistance. Please be sure to turn in both forms as soon as possible. If you do not receive a sufficient amount of assistance to send your student to camp, any money paid for camp (including the initial deposit) will be refunded to you.

It is our desire and prayer that every student who wants to go to camp can and that finances would not be an obstacle. Thanks for partnering with us in this by getting your scholarship applications in prior to our deadline!

Hume Lake Registration

Please note: Shortly after this form is filled out (within 7-10 business days), an email and registration code will be sent to the email address provided to complete the registration process with Hume Lake Christian Camps. IMPORTANT: Registration is not complete until the Hume Lake registration is completed and accepted by Hume. Please be diligent in filling out Hume’s registration in order to secure your student’s spot at camp. Please wait to receive an email invitation and do not register your student directly through Hume’s website. All camp payments should go directly to Hillside, not to Hume.

Transportation
We will be busing students to and from camp. Drop off and pick up before and after camp will happen on campus at Hillside. More information regarding this process will be sent you to via email closer to the date of camp. The cost of transportation is included in the total cost of camp. Please contact the Student Ministries team in advance if you need to arrange a late drop off or early pick up from camp. Students are not allowed to drive themselves to camp.
