What to Expect
As the name suggests, Summer Blast is one of the BEST weeks of summer with TONS of fun activities, singing and dancing to worship songs, engaging teaching, and of course . . . WATER DAY! This 4 Day journey will turn your kiddos into “detectives” as they dig into a few of Jesus’ parables to solve the mysteries of how to grow their faith, how to care for, serve, and love others. They’ll discover that the answers have been there all along: spend time with God, spend time with others, use your gifts, and share your story. Recreation Days
Get ready for the Water extravaganza!
- If you have a 1st-3rd grader, they will have Water Days on Wednesday & Friday.
- If you have a 4th-6th grader, they will have Water Days on Tuesday & Thursday.
On your child’s Water Day, please send them wearing their bathing suits underneath their Summer Blast t-shirts. They should also bring towels, sunscreen, and whatever else they need to have a day of fun in the sun!
On the days they are not doing Water Days, your child will be participating in their free choice activities that they select during the registration process.

Everyone who wants to attend! If you have multiple children, please register each one of them. If you want to volunteer, please register as a volunteer.

Scholarships are provided on a by-need basis. If you are in need of a scholarship, please contact cfluker@hillsidechurches.com.

We serve a small snack during the day. If your child has any food allergies, please send them with a small, tree-nut-free snack each day.

Of course! In order for this week to be possible, we need lots of willing hands who are able to dive in and have fun with kids for a few days. If you’re interested in serving, click here to register.

Shuttles will run from Chaffey College to Hillside each morning and afternoon to aid in the drop-off/pick-up process. Due to limited parking on campus, we ask that all parents shuttle to and from Hillside from the north parking lot of Chaffey College (located on Wilson Ave) to pick up/drop off their child.

Due to limited space, our Summer Blast preschool program is only available for those who are volunteering during the week of Summer Blast. You can sign up to serve HERE.
