Position Title: Babysitting Lead

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Arrive for shift on time
  • Understand and follow safety procedures of Kids Ministry as well as ensuring compliance of babysitting team
  • Complete kids ministry Trainings
  • Helps make sure the ratios of kids to adults are met in the classrooms
  • Helps with kids that are challenging or having a hard time
  • Supports all babysitting staff scheduled for shifts
  • Understands the process of getting kids in the classrooms
  • Responsible for the process of check-in from start to finish
  • Responsible for room up keep
  • Can be part of babysitting ratio
  • Point person for acceptance or denial of children into classrooms at time of check-in
  • Ensure supplies & equipment are ready for the babysitting team
  • Demonstrates ability to handle emergency situations efficiently
  • Ability to discuss challenges and injuries with parents when necessary and completes required form


  • First Aid and CPR certified
  • Ability to assess children’s developmental needs and meet them appropriately
