Rooted is more than a small group or Bible study. It is a 10-week experience that is designed to deepen your connection with God, His Church, and your purpose and is a catalyst for life change.
Rooted is a 10-week experience for people in every stage of life, wherever they are in their walk with Christ. Discussions are held in small groups of 10-15 people. Together, they explore the Bible, engage in experiences, share stories and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. Thousands of individuals have been through Rooted here, at Hillside Community Church, and we believe God continues to use this experience as a tool to change our church and transform the lives of our people.
Rooted participants can register below. The cost is $25 per participant, which covers the cost of a book, as well as other group materials and opportunities.
The Cost for childcare to cover all 10 weeks is $100 for the first child, and $0 per additional child within the same household.
Childcare is provided for ages starting at 2 years old through Tk.
Rooted participants will be placed in a newly created Rooted group. Our staff will seek discernment in assigning people to a group and a leader. When we have followed this process in the past, we’ve seen God do what only He can do in providing the right blend of group members and leaders. Participants may make requests to be in a group with a friend, but we also encourage people to be open to meeting new people as well.
Rooted participants will receive their workbook on the first night of Rooted. Group facilitators will describe a little bit more about the workbook.
Rooted participants are encouraged to participate in one group during the session they are signed up for. However, participants are also encouraged to participate in groups in future seasons, because they are a great way to get connected with other people in the community.
You must complete at least one session of Rooted before facilitating.
