Governmental/County Websites & Resources


  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: The most up-to-date information, tips on how to protect yourself, and what to do if you are sick. 
  • San Bernardino County Department of Public Health: for the most up to date information within our county
    • Residents of San Bernardino County may call the COVID-19 hotline at (909) 387-3911 from Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. for general information and resources about the virus.
  • 2-1-1: Dial 2-1-1 for a one-stop connection to thousands of community services. Bilingual staff are available 24/7 or visit their website by clicking HERE. Check back daily to get the latest info.

Local Food Pantries


  • San Bernardino Food Bank (CAPSBC): for an extensive list of all food programs in San Bernardino County 
  • Touch Ministries is focusing their efforts on the senior community and will deliver directly to the homes of seniors in need (to help sustain their efforts they are asking for a $5 donation for each box delivered) 
    • Please call Connie at (909) 682-5474  
  • 3P Ministries will provide food on the 3rd Wednesday of each month on a first come first serve basis

  • KidKare International is distributing food to those with residence within San Bernardino County every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

  • God Provides Ministry– will provide food services to the public Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
    • Family Pack (provides a weeks worth of grocery items) will be distributed and will require a $30 donation

  • Neighborhood Vineyard Church– will distribute food on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.

Kids Meal Programs


*In light of the changing restrictions, please call your local school district for the most up to date information on services being offered.

  • Chaffey Joint Union High School District 
    • Each comprehensive high school site will be serving Grab and Go meals during the weeks of Monday, March 16-20 and March 30-April 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Food services will not be available during the designated spring break week of March 23-27)
    • Meals should be taken away from the site and consumed elsewhere or at home. 
  • Fontana Unified School District
    • Grab and Go breakfast and lunch meals are available to take home beginning March 16 
    • Breakfast for the following day will be distributed along with lunch. 
    • Meals are available from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • Alta Loma School District 
    • Alta Loma Elementary School- 7085 Amethyst Ave., 91701 
    • Lunches will be available for curbside pick-up March 16-March 20 and March 30 to April 3, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Meals will not be available during the designated spring break week of March 23-27) 
    • Children must be present in the vehicle for meals to be provided 
  • Central School District
    • Ruth Musser Middle School- 10789 Terra Vista Pkwy., 91730 (enter the main parking lot and drive through to the MPR) 
    • Central Elementary School- 7955 Archibald Ave., 91730 (enter the south parking lot and drive through to the front of the student pick up area) 
      • Grab and Go school meals are available in a drive through format March 16-March 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
      • Children must be present for meals to be provided 
  • Cucamonga Elementary School District
    • For ages 2-18. Lunches will be provided beginning March 17, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following sites: 
    • Cucamonga Elementary School
    • Los Amigos Elementary School
    • The Ontario Center School
    • Rancho Cucamonga Middle School
  • Etiwanda School District
    • Lunches will be provided beginning Tuesday, March 17, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the following sites:

    • John L. Golden Elementary School 
  • Ontario-Montclair School District 
    • Breakfast & lunch will be available March 16-20 and March 30-April 3
    • Meals will be served and packaged “to-go” and should be consumed off-site
    • Meals will be served between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Care Packages for Seniors

Help us respond to the immediate need that focuses on vulnerable senior citizens within Hillside Community Church and our partner, The Hope Through Housing Foundation. We will meet that need by collecting & distributing care packages that include food, toiletries and activities.

How

We want to rally together as a church family to support those most at-risk in our communities. Care packages will be assembled by YOU on your own and within your own homes.  The items included in each package will be left to your discretion. However, we are asking for you to stay within the provided needs list, but please pack as much or as little wanted within the needs list. All items should be placed in a reusable grocery bag. 

 

What

List of approved items to include:

    • Food: Canned protein, Dry Milk, Peanut Butter, Dry Soup, Canned Soup, Hot Chocolate, Mayonnaise, Fresh Fruits and Veggies, Crackers, Nuts, Cereal, Oatmeal, Ramen Noodles, Macaroni and Cheese, Single Serve 0r Calorie Drink Mix Packets, Canned Ravioli, Health Bars, Protein Drinks, Popcorn, Jelly, Bread
    • Toiletries (Travel size ok): Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand Soap, Bar Soap, Body Soap, Sanitizer, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Flushable Wipes, Toothpaste, Deodorant
    • Activities: Art Kit with instructions, Word Search, Brain Games, Adult Coloring Book, Colored Pencils, Pencil Sharpener

Since there is a “Shelter-In-Place” restriction in place, all of the above listed items can be ordered online!

Collection

We will collecting these Care Packages at Hillside Community Church, our Rancho Campus (5354 Haven Ave., Rancho Cucamonga CA 91737).

Packages will be collected drive-thru style so that you can remain in your car. Enter our parking lot through the Haven entrance, and head to the EZ Ups where our serve team will collect the care packages.

Collection Times:

  • Thursday, April 2nd from 3pm-7pm
  • Sunday, April 5th from 8:30am- 12:30pm
  • Thursday, April 9th from 3pm-7pm
  • Saturday, April 11th from 8:30am- 12:30pm
